Associate UKA DANCE

Tilly joined the Academy at the age of 3 years. Unfortunately at the age of 9 Tilly was diagnosed with meningitis and lost the use of her right side. 

Over a 4 year period she had to relearn how to walk and improve the balance and coordination of her body. She achieved this showing great determination and courage.

Tilly returned to the Academy at the age of 13 as it was always her passion to dance again. She worked her way up from the lower grades she had missed and latterly gaining Distinctions in all her subjects.

At the age of 18 Tilly gained her Associate Teachers Diploma in Freestyle with UKA Dance, and is teaching one of the Junior Freestyle classes at the Academy. Tilly is currently working towards her Associate Teachers in Ballet.
