SUPPORTED CHARITIES INCLUDE: THE NSPCC & MARTIN HOUSE CHILDREN’S HOSPICE
Miss Julia is continuing the traditions of the Academy started by Miss Benson in 1953 by producing an Annual Christmas Show, usually in late November. The production held at the Spa Pavilion Theatre Whitby serves to showcase all pupils and gives their parents the opportunity to see the progress made by their children within the year. All Proceeds to the NSPCC.
Our Annual Awards & Presentation Event
Our annual awards and presentation event where all class members receive their Dance examination certificates and awards achieved within the year is usually held every February. It is a fun evening where the pupils get the chance to show their own choreography skills by producing and performing in their own mini show. Each participant receives a special medal and certificate for the performance.
The main presentations follow with all pupils are presented with their trophies , medals and Certificates achieved in the previous years dance examinations.
A tombola is held with all proceeds for this event going to Martin House Children’s Hospice.
